Yesterday my class got to take our chromebooks home and use them for our homework and other learning. But before we could take our chromebooks home we first had to show our parents a video that we created.

Jonah Lomu

The All Black legend Jonah Lomu Died on the 18 of November 2015 at the age of 40. Jonah was the youngest ever to put on the black jersey and is considered one of the best ever All Black wingers.

He died during his sleep because he had something wrong with his kidneys. He was my role model when I was a little boy and still is.

Today Ruapotaka school went to the movies to watch the manaiakalani films. We had some fun on the way. Everyone was excited to go to the movies. We watched lots of Point Englands Films and some of ours. We all had fun and enjoyed it.

ZOOMMMM!!! Sam was speeding across the rugby field running from one side to another stepping one person then another then the whole team and then ....

“Ohhhhhhh!  Looks like he wasn’t fast enough!” Shouted the other team’s coach.

They were laughing at him.

Sam Allen was his name.We all know Barry Allen was the flash, but Barry never told his son about it. Sams dad had been away for two years.

Sam’s  team was angry at him so after the game they chased him all the way back home and grabbed him and threw him around. He was always complaining to his mum that he was getting bullied  and that he wasn’t fast enough. But his mum just told him to stay out of trouble.

Then one sunny day when Sam was in his science class he got struck by 2 bolts of lightning. He fell unconscious and they sent him straight to the hospital.  When he woke up he saw his hand moving so fast, it looked like the people in the room were moving so slow. Like time had slowed down. So he just ran back home to his mum but his mum wasn’t there. Then he saw what his dad saw…. The Reverse Flash, but he was small and was running as fast as Sam but who could he be and who was that person lying on the floor ? Then he noticed who was on the floor. It was his mother! She was badly injured and had scrapes on her body. Sam tried to grab the boy in a yellow suit. But he was to fast and then he ran straight through the door and was nowhere to be seen. The last words that boy said was “We’ll  meet again.”

The Netball Team

On Wednesday the 12th of August 2015 the year 7/8 and the year 5/6 netball team went to the AMI Courts to play against the other netball teams. There were lots of school there but we only played some of the schools. Then at the end of it we had to see who came what place. The year 7/8’s came 2nd and the year 5/6’s came last. We were sad but at least we had FUN!!!

My Water Explanation

How Does a Water Cycle Work?

This is how a water cycle works.

The sun is like the driver of the water cycle, it heats the  water. Some of this water evaporates into the air as vapour. Eventually, the water gets colder and turns into a cloud and then when it gets too cold the coldness forces the clouds to lose their moisture as rain, hail or snow. Then it turns into rain it drops and falls into lakes and seas and other places,

and that’s how a water cycle works.

Water has 3  states which are gas, liquid and solid.

Sometimes this water freezes and turns into a glacier.

1.Create a password for your device and make sure no one sees.

2.Make sure it is a strong password and not an easy password.It shouldn't be your pets name and it hasn't got anything to do with your name.

3.Lastly it must be at lest 8 or more letters not like jack213, it should be like a quote or a favorite song.

Dear My Family

We have arrived here at Gallipoli and it has been a little bit scary here and I miss you so much I wish I was back at home on the farm feeding pigs and other animals.

Everywhere I look all I see around me is dead bodies, gunshots and blood spread all over the floor. When I first got here I was so scared I nearly tried to run away. But a couple weeks later I got used to seeing dead bodies and blood on the floor. Sometimes I think I’m deaf because when one of the men talk to me I don’t hear it.

I am enjoying the sweets and the cakes you sent from home it is so delicious and did mum bake it or did grandma make it because it taste like grandma’s favourite fruit cake.

Send my love to Alice. How is her family?I hope shes doing ok.Did she get the job?

I miss you all terribly I hope I get a reply.I’ll be coming in 3 more years I hope I’ll still be alive.
